At Intrepid Travel we exist to inspire, create, share and lead the best travel experiences ever – for both people and the planet. We've been creating positive change through the joy of travel since 1989, and we’re proud to be a certified B Corp with 1000s of experiences in over 100 countries.

Love bringing travel experiences to life? Join Intrepid DMC Chile and turn travel ideas into unforgettable, well-designed and responsible adventures.

As our Destination Experience Executive, you’ll own the end-to-end design, costing, sale and delivery of travel experiences across all business lines. This includes Intrepid’s Short Group Adventures (SGA) and other series of departures, series of groups for external clients, and FIT and tailor-made trips.

You’ll be a key point of contact for Intrepid’s Product teams and external partners, turning requests into well-designed, commercially sound and responsible itineraries. From responding to enquiries and preparing quotes to ensuring every detail is delivered as promised, you’ll play an important role in creating great experiences for our clients and travellers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and costing itineraries, preparing annual pricing updates for series departures, quoting and converting new business, preparing trip documentation and providing excellent customer service, all in line with Intrepid Travel’s standards and values.

You’ll work closely with our Contracting, Reservations, Operations and Finance teams, as well as regional and global Product teams, to ensure trips run safely and smoothly, and that client invoicing and payments are managed on time. Building strong relationships and working collaboratively across teams will be key to your success.

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a hybrid working arrangement from our Santiago, Chile office, with the opportunity to work from home two days per week.

A passion for travel is a must-have! With it you’ll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of destinations and the tourism industry in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay.

  • Experience in sales and/or product within a tour operator, DMC or travel agency, including quoting, costing and designing itineraries for both series departures (SGA/series groups) and tailor-made travel (FIT/private groups).

  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers, including costings, margins, exchange rates and pricing.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced, particularly for costing models), Word and Outlook.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, particularly during high season.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
