Job Description:
As Digital Program Director, this role is accountable for defining and delivering an integrated digital roadmap through April 2028, spanning source-to-pay, price risk, quality, and revenue protection domains. The role ensures digital capabilities are cohesively designed, implemented, and adopted at scale, delivering measurable business value and enabling a sustained shift to new ways of working across the Commercial organization.
This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, interpreting complex and ambiguous business challenges and translating them into clear digital solutions. As a recognized expert in digital transformation and program leadership, the Digital Program Director is recommending best practices and applying a systems-level perspective to resolve complex challenges and ensure multiple workstreams operate as an integrated, high-performing ecosystem.
The role leads the digital cross-functional program delivery across global teams, driving alignment and consistency of solutions, while influencing senior stakeholders through insight and structured recommendations.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s, Master’s degree preferred. Field of Study: Technology, Computer Science , or relevant field of study.
- Advanced professional credentials in project management such as PMP, Prince 2, SAFe, Agile, etc.
- 10+ years in digital transformation, program leadership, or large-scale IT delivery.
- 3+ years formal people leadership.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-stream transformation programs.
- Strong experience in business partnering at VP/Director level.
- Experience across AI, data, digital platforms, or enterprise systems strongly preferred.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Transformation Leadership & Strategy
- Define and lead the end-to-end CAT 2.0 digital transformation strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment across all capability areas.
- Translate CAT 2.0 ambition into a coherent portfolio of digital capabilities across Commercial AI Assistant, Control Tower, SQA, and Revenue Portection.
- Serves as the ultimate authority for CAT 2.0 digital roadmap sequencing and prioritization; autonomously decides on critical scope adjustments and program trade-offs to ensure the digital ecosystem remains flexible, future-proof, and delivered on budget.
- Operates as a leader of leaders, providing strategic direction & best practices, line management, and mentorship to a team of T3 Digital Senior Leads; empowers them to independently drive their respective transformation streams while cultivating a high-performing culture of ownership and accountability.
- Ensure all workstreams collectively deliver synergies, automation, and improved decision-support across Commercial.
- Anticipate & solve complex business challenges and adjust strategy to ensure delivery of transformation outcomes.
Integrated Delivery & Value Realization
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the CAT 2.0 digital portfolio through April 2028.
- Ensure clear alignment across the 4 Digital Senior Leads, avoiding duplication and maximizing synergies.
- Own the delivery of value realization directly enabled by deployed digital solutions across all capabilities (cost efficiency, decision speed, automation, risk reduction).
- Establish and govern digital portfolio-level KPIs and success measures.
- Drive prioritization and trade-offs across initiatives to maximize business impact.
Business Partnership & Operating Model Transformation
- Act as the primary Digital partner to Commercial leadership (VP / Director level) in CAT 2.0.
- Drive transformation of ways of working, embedding digital capabilities into core Commercial processes.
- Ensure strong alignment across Commercial, Supply, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Digital organizations.
- Enable a shift toward data-driven, automated, and integrated decision-support across the value chain.
Capability & Architecture Integration
- Ensure all capabilities (AI, Control Tower, SQA, Revenue Protection) are designed and delivered as an integrated digital ecosystem, not standalone solutions.
- Define and enforce principles for: Data ownership and integration, Analytics vs AI vs reporting, Supplier master data and compliance with systems architecture guidance.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise platforms, data models, and digital strategy.
Program Governance & Leadership
- Establish and lead CAT 2.0 digital governance, including: Steering forums, Decision frameworks, Risk and issue management.
- Oversee budget, resourcing, and portfolio planning (~$8M+ aggregated across roles).
- Lead and develop the team of Digital Senior Leads, ensuring clear accountability, strong performance and professional growth.
Vendor & Partner Ecosystem Leadership
- Oversee strategic relationships with system integrators, technology vendors, and external partners.
- Ensure consistent vendor strategy across all workstreams.
- Drive accountability for delivery quality, timelines, and outcomes.
Scale & Sustain
- Define and support deployment of the target operating model post-2028.
- Ensure transition from project-based delivery to product/service ownership model across all capabilities.
- Drive global scalability, sustainability, and continuous improvement of solutions.
- Embed long-term governance and ownership within the business.
