Director of Renewable Energy

Role Description This part-time remote Director of Renewable Energy role at Reclutando Perfiles RD focuses on leading strategic initiatives in clean energy across diverse projects and stakeholders. The Director will oversee the design, evaluation, and implementation of renewable energy programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing energy data and market trends, advising on energy policy impacts, and optimizing energy management practices for efficiency and sustainability. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners, preparing reports and presentations for leadership, and guiding long-term energy strategy and investment decisions. The Director will also support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities in the renewable energy sector and recommending innovative solutions.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, assess project performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Deep understanding of the energy industry and renewable energy technologies, with experience in planning and executing clean energy projects.
• Knowledge of energy policy and regulatory frameworks, including the capability to evaluate policy impacts and contribute to compliance strategies.
• Experience in energy management, including monitoring energy use, improving efficiency, and implementing sustainability initiatives.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, energy management, public policy, or a related field.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional projects and engaging stakeholders at different levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical and policy issues to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working remotely, with strong time-management, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in international or regional energy markets, and proficiency in using relevant software tools for data analysis and project management, is beneficial.
