Global IT Director

Role Description The Global IT Director at Resolve Assist is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home. The role oversees global IT management, including planning, directing, and coordinating IT operations across regions to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability. This position leads the development and implementation of IT strategies aligned with business objectives, manages vendor relationships, and optimizes technology investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising IT teams, monitoring network performance and security, guiding infrastructure and application improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Global IT Director collaborates with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and provides expert guidance on emerging technologies and risk mitigation.
Qualifications

• Strong background in IT Management and IT Operations, with experience overseeing multi-site or global environments.
• Deep understanding of Information Technology domains, including infrastructure, applications, and cloud-based solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in Network Security, including risk assessment, security controls, and incident response.
• Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that supports organizational goals and digital transformation.
• Experience in leadership roles managing diverse, cross-functional IT teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in a multicultural setting.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP) are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Abu Dhabi, balancing onsite collaboration and remote work.
