Information Technology Director

Role Description The Information Technology Director at RC Tech is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s overall IT vision, strategy, and operations. This role manages IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include leading IT planning and budgeting, directing IT operations, advising on technology investments, and coordinating with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs. The Information Technology Director also oversees network security practices, risk management, and compliance, and provides guidance to any IT staff or external partners to maintain secure and efficient systems.

Qualifications

• Strong background in IT Management and IT Operations, with experience overseeing technology teams or projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of core Information Technology concepts, systems, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Network Security, including best practices for secure configurations, monitoring, and incident response.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT Strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with cloud services, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are a plus.
