Director Program Management Office

Role Description The Director Program Management Office (PMO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for establishing and leading the PMO function at 3N Startups. This role oversees the planning, execution, and tracking of programs and projects that support content initiatives, platform enhancements, and community engagement activities. The Director PMO defines project portfolio priorities, implements standardized processes and templates, and ensures that projects align with strategic objectives and timelines. Daily responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional contributors, monitoring risks and dependencies, analyzing performance metrics, and preparing status updates for leadership. The Director PMO also drives continuous improvement, helps optimize resource allocation, and supports scalable growth of the organization’s initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong Program Management and Project Management skills to lead multiple initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Experience in Project Portfolio Management and Project Planning to prioritize projects, manage dependencies, and optimize resources.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Proven ability to design and implement PMO frameworks, standards, and tools in a growing or startup environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across remote and multicultural teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Familiarity with digital media, startup ecosystems, or technology communities is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
