DRAFTER / DESIGNER Architecture & Construction | Full-Time · Remote LATAM About the Role Our client is a U.S.-based architecture firm managing multiple concurrent projects. They're looking for a motivated Drafter / Designer to join their team. You'll take field measurement data provided by others, convert it into organized AutoCAD files, and build the drawing foundation for new projects. Day-to-day, you'll handle architect redline corrections, produce permit-ready drawing sets, and manage revisions across active projects. This is a production-heavy role — but also a launchpad. Work Setup Location: Remote · LATAM Schedule: U.S. Business Hours Language: English B2+ Software Required AutoCAD — primary tool for all drafting production Nice to Have Autodesk Revit — BIM modeling and coordinated documentation SketchUp / Lumion / Enscape — visualization and client presentations Key Responsibilities Receive field measurement data and convert it into accurate, organized AutoCAD files to kick off new projects. Incorporate architect redline comments into existing drawings — correcting and updating for internal review, permit submissions, and client revisions. Produce and manage revisions to architectural drawings across active projects, maintaining drawing standards and consistency throughout. Prepare and organize drawing sets for permitting submissions, ensuring compliance with project and jurisdiction requirements. Coordinate with the lead architect or project manager to understand scope, priorities, and design intent before each task. Manage and version-control drawing files in shared platforms, keeping project folders organized and current. Over time, take on greater ownership of projects — from initial setup through permit issuance — with direction and mentorship from the team. Requirements Required Proficient in AutoCAD — hands-on production drafting experience, not just coursework. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, redlines, and field notes accurately. Understanding of drafting conventions: scales, lineweights, layer organization, and notation. English B2 or higher — daily written communication with architects and project managers. Pursuing architecture as a career, or prior experience working in an architecture office. Fast learner — able to adapt to the firm's workflows, templates, and standards quickly. Nice to Have Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit — BIM modeling and coordinated documentation. Prior exposure to U.S. construction documents or permit drawing sets. Experience with visualization tools: SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar. Familiarity with cloud-based file management: BIM 360, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar.
