E-commerce & Jewellery Content Executive

Salary: Rs. 20,000 basic monthly salary + performance bonus of up to Rs. 5,000 per month

About Us

MAHARANI’S is a fine and luxury jewellery brand offering carefully selected jewellery pieces with an emphasis on elegance, presentation and quality. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual who can help us improve our online product catalogue, jewellery photography and digital presence.

Jewellery Photograph

1. Photograph jewellery professionally for our website and social media.
2. Create clean, attractive product images with suitable lighting, backgrounds and angles.
3. Capture product details, including stones, colours, designs and finishing.
4. Maintain consistency in the visual presentation of our products.

AI Image Generation & Editing

1. Use AI tools and photo-editing software to enhance product images.
2. Create attractive, premium-looking jewellery visuals for online use.
3. Ensure the actual jewellery design, stone placement, colour and details remain accurate.
4. Avoid misleading edits that make the product look different from the real item.

Website Product Listings

1. Upload and maintain product listings on our website.
2. Add product names, descriptions, prices, photographs and relevant details.
3. Ensure listings are accurate, complete and professionally presented.
4. Check product pages for missing information, incorrect images or errors.

Inventory & POS Management

1. Enter and update product information in our POS/inventory system.
2. Ensure product names, prices, SKUs and stock information are consistent with the website.
3. Report discrepancies, missing information and inventory-related issues.

SEO & Product Descriptions

1. Write clear, attractive product descriptions suitable for a fine and luxury jewellery brand.
2. Prepare SEO-friendly product titles, meta titles and meta descriptions.
3. Add relevant image alt text and product keywords.
4. Help improve the visibility and presentation of our products in search engines.

Social Media Content Creation

1. Prepare product images and creative content for Instagram posts, Stories and Reels.
2. Develop fresh visual ideas to present jewellery attractively.
3. Resize and edit content for different social media formats.
4. Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across published content.

Product Handling & Organisation

1. Collect jewellery from our shop when required for photography and return it according to the agreed schedule.
2. Maintain a clear record of all items collected and returned.
3. Handle every item carefully and report any issue immediately.
4. Organise product photographs and files using the assigned product names or SKUs.

Required Skills

• Good photography and visual composition skills.
• Knowledge of photo-editing tools and a willingness to use AI creative tools.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce product listings and SEO.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines and organise work independently.
• Reliable communication and responsible handling of jewellery.

Experience with jewellery photography, e-commerce websites, inventory/POS systems or Instagram content creation will be an advantage.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

This is a home-based role. The selected candidate will generally work from their own studio and collect or return jewellery from our shop when required.

The compensation structure is:

• Basic salary: Rs. 20,000 per month.
• Performance bonus: Up to Rs. 5,000 per month, based on agreed targets, work quality, accuracy and timely completion.
• Maximum monthly compensation: Rs. 25,000.

Monthly responsibilities and performance targets will be agreed upon so that expectations are clear.

Selection Process (Practical Photography Test)

We prefer to evaluate practical skills rather than conduct a lengthy formal interview.

Initially, the candidate will be asked to photograph a jewellery piece available at their own home and submit:

1. An original photograph.
2. A professionally edited product photograph suitable for an e-commerce website.
3. An optional creative version suitable for Instagram, demonstrating AI editing or creative skills.

The submitted work will be evaluated on lighting, sharpness, background, composition, colour accuracy, attention to detail and overall presentation.

If the results meet our expectations, the candidate may be invited to complete a second practical test using a MAHARANI’S product. Further discussion regarding the role, responsibilities and compensation will follow.
