Electrical Design Engineer | Co. Louth

We are partnering with a leading Irish manufacturer to recruit an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team designing electrical systems for large-scale projects across high-growth sectors.

With significant expansion plans, a strong order book and major investment in growth, this role offers the chance to work on projects from concept through to manufacture in a modern environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project, production and customer teams, helping deliver innovative engineered solutions while building their career within a rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities Include

• Electrical design of modular units and engineered products to meet customer specifications.
• Producing engineering drawings, schematics, calculations, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant national and international standards.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Providing technical support to manufacturing teams and reviewing project documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in an Electrical Design Engineering role.
• Strong electrical design and schematic development experience.
• Experience using EPlan or similar electrical design software.
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
