At Tunstall, every call has the potential to change someone's day! We're currently recruiting multiple Emergency Response Operators to join our 24/7 Emergency Response Centre in Eagle Farm. Whether you're seeking around 19 hours per week, a larger part-time arrangement, or full-time employment, we'd love to hear from you. We have several opportunities available and are focused on finding great people who are open to rotating rosters to meet the needs of the business for our special clients. As part of a 24/7 operation, shifts to be rostered are days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays. Once fully trained, hybrid work opportunities may be available for suitable candidates. You will remain calm under pressure, assess the situation, provide reassurance and coordinate the most appropriate response. In this role, you will: Respond to emergency and non-emergency alarm activations Speak with clients, family members, carers and emergency contacts Assess situations and determine appropriate actions Coordinate assistance in accordance with established procedures Provide reassurance and support to clients who may be vulnerable or distressed Maintain accurate client records and documentation Work as part of a close-knit team delivering 24/7 support Who We're Looking For We're looking for people who genuinely care about helping others and can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability services, contact centres, customer service, emergency services, hospitality, retail or administration will be highly regarded. You'll be successful if you have: Strong communication and active listening skills Empathy, patience, and professionalism The ability to stay calm under pressure Sound judgement and decision-making skills Attention to detail and accuracy Confidence using computer systems Reliability and flexibility across a rotating roster A positive and collaborative approach We will provide the training and support you need to succeed!
