Hiring: ERP Business Analyst / Process Mapping Consultant

Pakistan | Remote | Contract / Freelance

We are looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support an ERP discovery and requirements project in the clean-energy sector.

Initial Finance and Procurement interviews have been completed. We need someone who can turn interview transcripts, supporting documents and stakeholder feedback into accurate process maps and clear ERP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review interview transcripts and identify process steps, roles, systems, controls, pain points and unanswered questions.
• Create separate, editable BPMN swimlane diagrams using draw.io or Microsoft Visio.
• Document current-state and proposed future-state business processes.
• Cover Finance and Procurement, including payments, journals, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, intercompany, consolidation, project accounting, CWIP and fixed assets.
• Capture differences between legal entities and distinguish confirmed information from assumptions.
• Prepare requirements with unique IDs, business rationale, MoSCoW priorities and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Maintain process inventories, gap assessments, evidence requests, action logs and decision records.
• Support stakeholder workshops and revise documents following validation.
• Help prepare vendor demonstration scenarios and evaluation documents after requirements approval.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in ERP business analysis, discovery or implementation.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Procurement and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to create BPMN swimlanes showing boundaries, inputs, outputs, ownership, decisions and exception paths.
• Strong written English and the ability to interpret detailed interview transcripts.
• Proficiency in draw.io or Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Workspace.
• Availability for agreed meeting overlap with Eastern Time in Canada.

Experience with multi-entity accounting, renewable energy, construction or capital projects is an advantage. Familiarity with Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle or NetSuite would also be helpful.
