Environmental / Sustainability Consultant

EcoConServ Environmental Solutions is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Consultant to support environmental assessments, sustainability studies, and advisory assignments.

We are looking for an analytical and organised professional with strong technical writing and research skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality environmental advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs), environmental and social management plans (ESMPs), environmental due diligence reports, and sustainability studies.
• Conduct baseline research, site visits, field assessments, and stakeholder consultations.
• Assess environmental risks and impacts and develop practical mitigation and monitoring measures.
• Review project documentation against applicable national requirements and international environmental and social standards.
• Support assignments involving resource efficiency, pollution prevention, waste management, climate change, and sustainability performance.
• Analyse environmental data and translate findings into clear technical reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and project stakeholders to deliver assignments on time.
• Contribute to technical proposals, expressions of interest, and the development of project methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, environmental assessment, or sustainability.
• Strong technical writing, research, and analytical skills, with full professional proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with Egyptian environmental requirements and international environmental and social frameworks, including those of the World Bank, IFC, EBRD, and EIB.
• Ability to interpret technical information and develop clear, practical recommendations.
• Strong coordination skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AI tools to support research and document preparation would be an advantage.
• Experience with GIS, environmental data analysis, GHG accounting, or sustainability reporting would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and field assignments.
