Role Description The SAP Group Reporting Consultant will support clients in designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Group Reporting solutions for consolidation and financial reporting. This part-time remote role involves analyzing business requirements, mapping financial processes, and implementing group reporting structures that comply with accounting and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include configuring consolidation rules, validating data flows from source systems, preparing financial statement reports, and troubleshooting functional issues. The consultant will collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders, prepare documentation and training materials, and provide advisory input on best practices for financial close and consolidation. The role also entails continuous improvement of reporting models, testing new functionalities, and ensuring data integrity and consistency across entities.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and optimize reporting and consolidation processes.
- Hands-on experience in Financial Reporting and Financial Statements, including consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Solid understanding of Finance concepts, accounting principles, and group consolidation requirements within corporate environments.
- Background in Consulting, with the ability to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven experience implementing or supporting SAP Group Reporting or SAP consolidation tools (e.g., S/4HANA Group Reporting, BPC) is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., SAP Finance/Reporting) are an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
