Job summary

The Supply Chain Systems Associate is responsible for daily administration, configuration, and operational support of the non-acute ERP system used across multiple facilities. This role ensures system functionality, accurate master data setup, user access management, and effective utilization of ERP tools to support procurement, item management, contract activation, and supply chain operations. The Associate serves as a key technical resource for end users, partners with supply chain teams, supports contract implementations, and maintains system controls, documentation, and reporting essential for non-acute purchasing workflows.

Essential functions

  • ​​ Maintain the ERP Item Master and Supplier Master, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with established standards and the Workday Supplier Master.
  • Administer ERP user accounts—creating, modifying, inactivating users, managing passwords, and monitoring system access and utilization.
  • Support contract and vendor price updates by loading applicable contract data into the ERP and coordinating with sourcing on conversions and new implementations.
  • Serve as a primary support resource for procurement and non-acute end users by resolving system-related issues, data discrepancies, and purchase workflow questions.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to ERP daily operations, system controls, and data maintenance processes.
  • Provide end-user training and maintain training documentation; support a self-service training model and promote effective system utilization.
  • Manage ERP help desk operations, including ticket triage, troubleshooting, documentation, and escalation as necessary.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy procurement and non-acute supply chain teams on drug-related item setup and maintenance within the ERP.
  • Coordinate location and account setups, ensuring accurate facility, department, and purchasing hierarchy data.
  • Analyze operational reports (e.g., unreceived orders, utilization metrics) and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user efficiency.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, supply chain or related discipline (required)

Experience

  • 2 years experience in working with Supply Chain ERP applications​(required)
  • Prior experience as a Buyer, Technician, Materials Management System Administrator or Manager within a health care setting (preferred)

  • MS Office product
  • Healthcare terminology and supply product usage
  • Reporting principles and analytics

  • Familiar with ERP operations and medical practice support
