Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Technical Business Analyst at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 3PM to 11PM Vietnam time (the rest is flexible).

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in SQL, Data, and Power BI, combined with excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills.

You will work closely with business, product, engineering, data, security, and other stakeholders across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle — from understanding requirements and investigating problems to supporting implementation, testing, and ensuring successful outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end BA process, including requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, solution clarification, implementation support, UAT, and post-delivery follow-up.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements, investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions.
• Use SQL hands-on for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and investigation.
• Work with data models, data flows, data quality, and data-related requirements.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business insights and decision-making.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Data teams to ensure requirements are understood and solutions are implemented correctly.
• Support QA, UAT, data validation, issue investigation, and defect resolution.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and operational issues, and take ownership through to resolution.
• Support security and compliance-related activities, including evidence collection, audits, and customer security requirements where applicable.
• Contribute to process improvements and take on operational or ad-hoc tasks when needed to ensure team and business objectives are achieved.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Technical BA, Systems Analysis, Data Analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence working with international stakeholders.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience — practical ability to query, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data, not just theoretical knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools, including dashboard/report development and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of data, business processes, and end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
• Ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• High ownership and accountability, with a strong focus on outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
• Proactive, agile, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-changing environment.
• Flexible and willing to take on different types of work with a “no task is outside my scope if it helps achieve the outcome” mindset.

• Hands-on experience supporting ISO 27001, SOC 2, security audits, or compliance evidence collection.
• Familiarity with SSO, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, or SAML.
• Experience supporting SaaS applications.
• Experience with user administration, access management, or permission management.
• Experience completing or supporting customer security questionnaires.
• Experience in QA, UAT, data validation, or data quality activities.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, databases, or technical specifications.
• Experience working in an international or cross-functional environment.
