VELVET is a fashion-tech startup building a new space for personal style, creativity, and fashion discovery. Founded in Berlin and launching in Cairo, we bring together fashion brands, creators, and a new generation of fashion enthusiasts through technology and community.

We’re looking for a Fashion & Brand Partnerships Associate to help grow VELVET in Egypt. You’ll work closely with the founder across brand partnerships, fashion curation, community, content, and local operations.

What you’ll do

• Discover Egyptian fashion brands, build relationships, coordinate partnerships, and help onboard brands and their collections onto VELVET.
• Scout local designers and products, and help curate VELVET’s fashion catalog.
• Support creative content for Instagram and TikTok.
• Connect with creators, stylists, and fashion communities, and help organize events and collaborations in Cairo.
• Organize user interviews, focus groups, and product testing with Egyptian fashion enthusiasts.
• Support the everyday work of launching VELVET in Egypt.

Who we’re looking for

You love fashion, have a strong eye for style, and know the Egyptian fashion scene. You’re confident approaching brands and building relationships, and you’re organized, curious, and ready to take initiative. Good communication skills in Arabic and English are important.

We welcome students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals. Experience in fashion, partnerships, content, community, or events is a plus. Creating UGC or appearing on camera is optional.

Flexible, part-time work in a remote-first setup, direct collaboration with the founder, and the chance to help shape VELVET’s launch in Egypt.

Location: Greater Cairo, Egypt. Applicants must be based in Greater Cairo and available for occasional in-person brand meetings, events, and focus groups.
