Job Title: Fashion Designer (Contract-Based)

About Us:
We are a growing fashion brand looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join us on a contract basis. We focus on [Pret / Luxury Pret / Menswear / Streetwear / Eastern Wear] and are looking for someone who can translate trends into wearable, market-ready designs.
*Role Overview:*
The Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing collections from initial idea to final sample. This is a contract-based role with flexibility, ideal for a creative professional who wants to work on a per-project basis.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Create original designs, mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selections as per brand direction
- Develop tech packs, sketches (hand / CAD), and detailed specifications for tailoring team
- Research current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor analysis
- Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and vendors for sampling and production
- Ensure timely delivery of designs within the agreed project timeline
- Attend fittings and provide feedback to ensure design accuracy and quality
- Manage 2-3 collections / articles per month as per contract
*Requirements:*
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a strong portfolio
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other design tools
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, stitching, embroidery, and garment construction
- Ability to understand market trends and client preferences
- Excellent sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail
- Must meet deadlines and be able to work independently
*Contract Terms:*
- Contract Duration: [e.g., 3 Months / 6 Months / Per Collection Basis - Renewable]
