Role Description The German Instructor role is a part-time remote position focused on delivering engaging, learner-centered German language instruction. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching live online classes, developing and refining lesson plans and activities, and guiding learners through interactive speaking practice and real-world communication scenarios. The instructor will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to different proficiency levels and learning styles. Additional responsibilities may include collaborating with the LexioVerse team to improve curriculum materials, integrating digital tools to enhance participation, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated teaching experience and strong instructional skills, ideally with Middle School or similar age groups.
• Curriculum Development and lesson planning skills to design structured, engaging German language learning experiences.
• Expertise in Teaching German and Language Arts concepts, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Professional proficiency (C1 or above) in German and strong command of English for instruction and support.
• Experience teaching online or using virtual classroom tools and learning management systems.
• Ability to create an inclusive, culturally responsive, and learner-centered environment for diverse learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certifications or relevant training are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
