Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

About the role

Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

As Finance Business Partner - Commercial, you’ll be providing insights and strategic guidance to influence decision-making and deliver results. You will:

• Partner with Merchandise teams to achieve sales, margin, and cost targets
• Identify opportunities to exceed sales plans and unlock growth
• Influence decisions through fact-based, innovative analysis and insights
• Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and initiatives across the Business Unit
• Deliver ROI analysis for transformational projects and business cases
• Track key initiatives and promotions to ensure expected outcomes
• Lead financial governance and performance reporting, including annual planning and budgeting
• Drive the monthly forecast process, clearly communicating risks and opportunities
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance performance

About you and your skills

You bring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder influence and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to translate financial insight into meaningful business action. You will also have:

• CA/CPA coupled with finance experience within a retail/FMCG or similar environment ideally
• Demonstrated experience working with and influencing non financial stakeholders including Commercial/Merchandise teams
• Proven experience in preparing, analysing and interpreting financial information to identify opportunities and challenges
• Strong ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders to achieve win win outcomes
• Experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
