Finance Manager

Financial Control, Cost Management & Profitability

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of financial reporting, cost control, and profitability management?

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, monitor costs, ensure accurate reporting and compliance, and support business growth through effective financial management and data-driven decision-making.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts.

• Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements per outlet and brand.

• Prepare cash flow reports.

• Analyse financial performance and highlight key trends and risks.

• Provide actionable insights to improve profitability.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Cost Control & Profitability Management

• Monitor and control Food Cost Percentage (FC%), operational expenses, and labour costs in collaboration with HR and Operations.

• Conduct variance analysis on food cost, wastage, and inventory usage.

• Partner with Operations and Kitchen leadership to optimise margins.

• Track contribution margins per outlet.

Revenue Assurance & Controls

• Ensure accurate revenue capture across all channels.

• Review sales reconciliation reports.

• Strengthen internal financial controls across outlets.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

• Oversee vendor payments and ensure timely processing.

• Manage accounts receivable, including corporate and bulk clients.

• Maintain strong vendor relationships with financial discipline.

• Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all transactions.

Inventory Financial Oversight

• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to monitor inventory, valuation, and usage.

• Track stock variances and shrinkage.

• Ensure accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting.

Fixed Asset Register

• Review, tag, and maintain the fixed asset register.

• Ensure accurate records in line with the SOP manual.

Compliance, Audit & Controls

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Implement and maintain strong internal control systems.

Systems & Process Optimization

• Drive efficiency in financial processes.

• Leverage ERP systems, such as Odoo, for reporting and tracking.

• Improve financial workflows and reporting automation.

• Ensure data accuracy across all financial systems.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop Finance team members.

• Set performance targets and KPIs.

• Build a culture of accountability, accuracy, and discipline.

• Train non-finance teams on financial awareness where needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.

• Experience preparing financial reports, management accounts, and cash flow statements.

• Experience in cost control, budgeting, and profitability analysis.

• Knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and cost of goods sold.

• Understanding of financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.

• Experience using ERP systems, particularly Odoo, is an advantage.
