Part-time Financial Accountant
North Dublin - Hybrid
€56k – €59k pro-rata (€80k – €83k FTE equivalent) (26 hours/week)
Amicus Finance are recruiting for a newly created, permanent Part-Time Financial Accountant (26 hours/week) with a market-leading global FMCG business in North Dublin. Arising directly following a recent business restructuring, this high-impact position offers full local P&L visibility and direct mentorship from an impressive Finance Manager—with zero expectation of long hours. Ideal for anyone seeking genuine work-life balance, school-run flexibility, or a return-to-work opportunity, the 26 hours can be spread across 4 or 5 days, supported by a high-trust hybrid model (2 days in office, anchor Wednesday).
Offering a competitive €56k – €59k pro-rata (€80k – €83k FTE equivalent), it’s the perfect role for a senior finance professional looking for a high-caliber career move without sacrificing family life.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will hold overall local accountability for month-end and year-end closing (local GAAP & US GAAP), serving as the main bridge to offshored/outsourced accounting hubs and managing accurate ERP/BPC reporting. Key focus areas include trade accrual reconciliations, Operating Working Capital forecasting, managing AR/Sales ledger alignment, and overseeing external audit compliance. Beyond core reporting, you will gain true commercial exposure—co-piloting with Revenue Growth Management (RGM) on profitability projects, owning Annual Operating Plan indirect and supply chain budgets, driving cost-saving initiatives, and handling ad-hoc regulatory compliance projects.
We are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (3–5 years PQE preferred) with proven Irish market experience and valid work eligibility (no visa sponsorship provided). FMCG/retail experience or a first move from Big 4/Mid-Tier audit is ideal, along with strong ERP skills (e.g., SAP) and solid hands-on experience across financial statements, tax governance, and trade accruals. If you are a proactive, commercially minded accountant looking for a supportive, zero-micromanagement culture in a warm team of 13, this urgent hire is interviewing next week!
