Role Description The Financial Sales Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for identifying prospective clients, conducting needs assessments, and recommending appropriate insurance and financial solutions acrossHeirs Life,
Heirs General, and Heirs Brokers. Day-to-day activities include delivering financial consultations, presenting investment and protection options, preparing proposals, and following up to close sales and build long-term relationships.The consultant will monitor client portfolios, support retirement and financial planning discussions, and ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams on product knowledge, participating in sales campaigns,and tracking performance against targets.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance with practical experience or knowledge in Financial Planning and Investments.
Ability to support clients with Retirement Planning using sound Analytical Skills to evaluate options and risks.
Proven sales or business development experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, manage time independently, and meet performance goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Comfort with using basic MS Office applications, and digital channels for client engagement.
