Role Description The Owner role at SKILLS ROOT is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and overall operations of the company. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining business goals, managing key partnerships, and guiding the design and delivery of vocational education programs. The role involves monitoring financial performance, approving major investments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Owner also supports marketing and outreach initiatives, represents the organization in external meetings, and provides leadership to maintain a learner-centered, inclusive, and high-quality training environment.

• Proven ability in business management, including strategic planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the capacity to guide remote teams and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building partnerships with institutions, employers, and learners.
• Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms used for online education, collaboration, and administration.
• Background in entrepreneurship, operations management, or a related field is highly beneficial.
