Role Description The Freelance Writer role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Sukkur District, with flexibility for some work from home. The writer will create clear, engaging, and accurate content related to DCPL’s products, brand story, and industry, including articles, blog posts, marketing copy, and product descriptions. Responsibilities include researching assigned topics, drafting and revising content, aligning tone and messaging with brand guidelines, and collaborating with internal stakeholders for feedback and approvals. The role may also involve adapting content for different formats such as web pages, social media, and promotional materials while meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce concise, accurate, and reader-friendly content.
• Experience in freelance or part-time content creation, preferably in food, FMCG, or consumer brands.
• Ability to conduct structured research on products, markets, and consumer trends and translate findings into compelling narratives.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup, including attending on-site meetings in Sukkur District when required.
• Proficiency in basic digital tools (word processing, online collaboration platforms) and familiarity with web or social media content formats.
• Strong time management skills and reliability in meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience writing for brands, agencies, or publications and a portfolio of relevant work will be an advantage.
