Contract Details

• Location: Remote, South Africa-based
  

• Start date: Immediate
  

• Duration: Initial engagement of one to three months, covering setup, testing and rollout
  

• Hours: Approximately 20–30 hours per month
  

• Freelancer remuneration: R13,050 per month before PAYE
  

Payment Terms

• For the first month, the client will pay a 50% deposit upon engagement, with the remaining 50% payable when the campaign launches.
  

• Thereafter, the R15,000 CTC monthly retainer will be invoiced each month.
  

• Invoices are payable within seven days of the invoice date.
  

• The freelancer will receive R13,050 per month before PAYE.
  

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Paid Media Buyer to run Meta and TikTok lead-generation campaigns for an upcoming live trading masterclass.

The engagement will begin with one primary masterclass campaign, followed by ongoing promotional variations. The initial testing budget is R10,000–R25,000 per month, funded separately by the client.

The client owns verified Meta and TikTok advertising accounts.

Scope of Work

The monthly fee includes:

• Building, launching and managing lead-generation campaigns targeting South African audiences.
  

• Managing campaigns across Meta, including Facebook and Instagram, and TikTok.
  

• Building landing pages in Systeme.io, WordPress or a similar platform, or creating direct-to-WhatsApp and email flows.
  

• Implementing and optimising pixels, conversion tracking and campaign events.
  

• Providing compliance guidance on advertising copy, targeting and conversion-page layouts.
  

• Monitoring and optimising cost per lead.
  

• Agreeing performance targets with the client after the initial testing period.
  

• Providing weekly summary reports by email to the administrative team.
  

• Developing and testing ongoing campaign variations.
  

What the Client Provides

• Finished video and graphic assets.
  

• Advertising copy, offer details and brand materials.
  

• Verified Meta and TikTok advertising accounts.
  

• Internal follow-up on all generated leads.
  

• Approval of all creative and copy before publication.
  

• The monthly advertising budget.
  

Advertising Positioning and Compliance

Campaigns will focus on educational masterclass registrations, market commentary and trading fundamentals.

The core message is:

Learn trading-analysis fundamentals and market-risk management in our upcoming live masterclass.

Financial education falls within a restricted advertising category. All campaigns must comply fully with Meta and TikTok advertising policies. No advertisements may include income guarantees, promises of profit or misleading financial claims.

If an Advertisement or Account Is Restricted

• The media buyer will be paid for all authorised work completed up to that point.
  

• If the restriction occurred through no fault of the media buyer, the monthly retainer will remain active for up to 30 days while appeals or alternative campaign setups are processed.
  

• After 30 days, continued payment will depend on the media buyer actively submitting appeals or adjusting the campaign setup to restore compliant advertising activity.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Meta and TikTok lead-generation campaigns.
  

• Case studies showing advertising spend, lead volumes and cost-per-lead results.
  

• Experience with financial education, trading content or another regulated advertising category.
  

• Strong knowledge of Meta and TikTok advertising policies.
  

• Experience building landing pages and WhatsApp or email lead flows.
  

• Practical experience with pixels, conversion tracking and event optimisation.
  

• Based in South Africa.
  

• Available to start immediately.
