Front-end Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a programmer with a keen eye for design for the position of front end developer. You will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages among other duties.

· Determining the structure and design of web pages.

· Ensuring user experience determines design choices.

· Developing features to enhance the user experience.

· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.

· Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.

· Building reusable code for future use.

· Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

· Utilizing a variety of mark-up languages to write web pages.

· Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders .

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Front-end developer.

· Hands on experience with markup languages.

· Indepth understanding of the entire web development process (Design, development & deployment).

· Understanding of key design principles & layout aesthetics.

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.

· Understanding of server side CSS.

· Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, Jumla, etc.

· Familiarity with software like Adobe suite, photoshop & content management system.

· Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

· Good understanding of SEO Principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

· Good problem solving skills.

· Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

· Good interpersonal skills
