We are hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer for our UK-based client — a forward-thinking technology firm that is building modern, AI-enhanced digital solutions. Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer experienced in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) with Next.js framework expertise. You will be responsible for building end-to-end web applications, integrating OpenAI APIs, and deploying scalable solutions on AWS. This is a hands-on development role where you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-performance, secure, and user-friendly digital products. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack and Next.js framework. Integrate OpenAI APIs and other third-party AI tools to enhance product functionality and user experience. Build responsive, intuitive UIs using Tailwind CSS and Material-UI (MUI) for a modern, polished interface. Design scalable APIs, implement RESTful and GraphQL endpoints, and ensure smooth data flow between front- and back-end. Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS , ensuring high availability and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Maintain clean, well-structured, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile sprint planning. Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging tools and technologies to improve performance and scalability. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development . Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Deep expertise with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation. Experience integrating OpenAI or other LLM-based APIs. Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.). Strong command of Tailwind CSS and Material-UI (MUI) for building responsive and visually appealing UIs. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote, fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with TypeScript. Exposure to DevOps tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
