Global Mobility Specialist

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. The role involves recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers for marine conservation and community outreach activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and delivering volunteer training sessions, maintaining accurate volunteer records, and ensuring clear communication with volunteers and program staff. The Coordinator will support the planning and execution of events, field activities, and awareness campaigns, while monitoring volunteer engagement and addressing questions or concerns. This position also contributes to improving volunteer processes, developing materials and guidelines, and fostering an inclusive, safe, and motivating environment for all volunteers.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively coordinate, guide, and support volunteer teams.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage volunteers, staff, and community partners with clarity and respect.
• Candidates should possess experience or aptitude in Community Outreach to support events, awareness activities, and partnerships with local organizations.
• Knowledge or interest in marine conservation, environmental education, or community development is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple activities in a part-time hybrid setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
• Proficiency in basic office software and digital communication tools; prior coordination or nonprofit experience is an advantage.
