We’re looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to drive sustainable membership and revenue growth across all club locations. JEM is growing fast and committed to your future. Since 2022, we are currently at 16 clubs in 4 states (Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois and California) and set a goal to open 75 new gyms by 2032. Position Overview The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for driving sustainable membership growth, lead generation, and revenue performance across Limitless Fitness Group's portfolio of open and operating Crunch Fitness locations. This role develops and executes data-driven marketing strategies that support new member acquisition, improve conversion rates, increase member engagement, and drive same-store sales growth. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, operations leadership, club teams, agency partners, and vendors, the Growth Marketing Manager identifies growth opportunities, translates business objectives and club performance data into actionable marketing plans, and ensures effective execution of both digital and local marketing initiatives. This highly collaborative role requires a results-oriented marketer who can successfully balance strategic planning, performance analysis, campaign management, community partnerships, and field-level activation to deliver measurable business outcomes. Growth Marketing Manager Responsibilities Growth Strategy and Performance Ownership Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive membership growth, revenue, leads, joins, and same-store sales across open and operating clubs. Translate company goals and club budgets into actionable market- and club-level growth plans. Evaluate performance by location, market, offer, channel, audience, and campaign to identify risks and opportunities. Build targeted turnaround plans for underperforming clubs and growth plans for clubs with additional market potential. Partner with the Director of Marketing to develop annual, quarterly, and monthly growth plans. Maintain a strong understanding of each club’s goals, membership trends, competitive environment, and operational needs. Campaign Planning and Optimization Lead the execution of promotional campaigns for open and operating locations. Develop campaign briefs, market priorities, messaging recommendations, and club-level activation plans. Ensure digital campaigns are supported by strong local marketing, in-club execution, sales follow-up, and community visibility. Review campaign results and translate findings into clear recommendations for marketing and operations leadership. Identify opportunities to test new channels, audiences, offers, creative concepts, and conversion strategies. Local and Field Marketing Develop scalable local marketing programs that clubs can execute consistently within their communities. Partner with district managers and general managers to create club-specific plans tied to membership and revenue goals. Establish expectations, playbooks, and accountability systems for local outreach, events, grassroots marketing, and community engagement. Provide clubs with the resources, tools, messaging, and training needed to execute approved marketing initiatives. Regularly assess local execution and identify barriers affecting results. Support priority clubs through market visits, community research, competitive analysis, and hands-on activation when appropriate. Corporate Partnerships and Community Growth Identify high-value organizations and partnership opportunities within each club’s trade area. Partner with Corporate Sales Manager to establish a clear process for clubs to generate, qualify, escalate, and manage partnership leads. Create partnership packages, presentations, outreach tools, and activation plans. Develop programs that can be replicated across multiple clubs and markets. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the primary marketing partner for operations leadership overseeing open and operating clubs. Build strong relationships with district managers, general managers, sales teams, and club leadership. Lead regular performance discussions and provide clear, actionable marketing recommendations. Collaborate with the Senior New Club Marketing Manager to ensure newly opened clubs transition smoothly into the open and operating marketing structure. Partner with the Marketing Coordinator to execute campaigns, develop materials, maintain calendars, and track local initiatives. Communicate marketing priorities, expectations, results, and next steps clearly across departments. Budget and Vendor Management Manage assigned open and operating marketing budgets in partnership with the Director of Marketing. Evaluate the effectiveness of local media, sponsorships, partnerships, events, and other marketing expenditures. Coordinate with agencies and vendors to ensure work is delivered accurately, on time, and within budget. Reporting and Insights Track metrics such as leads, joins, cost per lead, cost per join, conversion rate, membership growth, same-store sales, and return on marketing investment. Identify patterns across markets and translate data into practical actions for the field. Document campaign learnings and incorporate them into future strategies and playbooks. Balance quantitative performance data with operational context, market conditions, and execution quality.Qualifications 5 or more years of experience in growth marketing, field marketing, multi-unit marketing, local store marketing, performance marketing, or a related discipline. Proven success developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable customer acquisition, lead generation, membership growth, and revenue performance. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, local marketing tactics, conversion optimization, campaign execution, and performance measurement. Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating effectively with operations teams, vendors, agencies, and business leaders. Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing and business performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Ability to influence stakeholders, build relationships, and drive accountability without direct authority. Proficiency with marketing analytics, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability and willingness to travel periodically to clubs, company meetings, events, and priority markets. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a multi-location consumer, fitness, retail, hospitality, franchise, or membership-based organization. Previous experience in the health, fitness, wellness, or franchise industry. Experience managing local store marketing (LSM) initiatives and community-based marketing programs. Experience working with marketing agencies, creative partners, media vendors, and external service providers. Familiarity with CRM platforms, lead management systems, and customer acquisition funnels. Experience developing market-specific growth plans and supporting new club openings, membership campaigns, or multi-unit business operations. Strong understanding of budget planning, forecasting, and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis. Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities through data analysis and market insights. Role Boundaries The Growth Marketing Manager owns growth strategy and marketing execution for open and operating locations. New club opening strategy and presale marketing remain under the Senior New Club Marketing Manager. Enterprise marketing strategy, agency leadership, vendor relationships, department direction, and final budget authority remain with the Director of Marketing. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred. HS Diploma or GED Required.Travel Requirements This is a remote position that requires travel of approximately 25%, based on business needs, marketing initiatives, and organizational priorities. Travel will primarily support club visits, new gym openings, local marketing activations, leadership meetings, market assessments, acquisitions, and growth initiatives across the company portfolio. The Growth Marketing Manager is expected to maintain a strong presence in the field to build partnerships with club leadership, evaluate marketing performance, and support execution of local growth strategies. Candidates must be able and willing to travel as needed, including occasional overnight and multi-day travel.
