Head of Development

Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Head of Development at RA Quality Consultancy and Surveillance Services, based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Head of Development will lead research and development initiatives, overseeing the design, evaluation, and improvement of consultancy and surveillance service offerings. This role will manage development projects from concept through delivery, coordinating timelines, resources, and quality standards in alignment with organizational goals. The individual will guide and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the organization. The Head of Development will also analyze market trends, client feedback, and internal performance data to inform strategic development priorities and support business growth.
Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Demonstrated Team Management and Team Leadership capabilities to guide, coach, and motivate diverse professional teams.
• Proven experience in Research and Development (R&D), including designing, testing, and refining service or process innovations.
• Effective Project Management skills to plan, execute, monitor, and deliver multiple development initiatives on time and within scope.
• Experience in consultancy, quality management, or surveillance services, ideally within the Middle East or similar regulatory environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site collaboration in Abu Dhabi with remote work.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, quality management, or a related field.
• Track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
