Head of Marketing

🚀 We’re hiring our first Head of Marketing at Athos AI.

This is one of the most important hires we’ll make this year.

About Athos

Athos is building AI-powered sales training for the insurance industry. Our platform uses AI role-play, call analysis, coaching, and personalized training to help insurance agents improve performance and close more business.

We’re an early-stage startup, but we’re well beyond the idea stage.

Over the last six months, we’ve built a product that customers genuinely love. We’re working with agencies across the U.S., have strong product-market fit within our niche, and are seeing incredible traction. Now it’s time to scale.

Our mission is ambitious: help grow Athos to 10,000+ agents on the platform.

About the role

We’re looking for someone to build our marketing engine from scratch.

You’ll work directly with me and own initiatives across:

• Paid acquisition (Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn)
• Organic content and brand building
• Creative strategy and ad production
• Landing pages and conversion optimization
• Website messaging
• Product launches
• Customer case studies
• Marketing analytics and attribution
• AI-powered content creation and workflows

This is a hands-on role. Initially, you’ll execute much of the work yourself while building the systems, processes, and eventually the team that scales our marketing function.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience running paid media campaigns that generate real pipeline
• Can write compelling copy and develop creative that converts
• Understands B2B SaaS marketing and growth
• Is highly analytical and obsessed with performance
• Uses AI extensively to work faster and produce exceptional work
• Thrives in fast-moving startups
• Takes extreme ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do

You’ll report directly to me and play a major role in shaping the future of the company.

Location: Remote (South Africa preferred)
