Role Description The Head of Private Banking will oversee and grow the private banking function, focusing on high-net-worth clients and strategic financial relationships. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site work and approved work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client portfolios, advising on tailored banking and investment solutions, and ensuring that services align with regulatory and institutional policies. The role involves leading and mentoring a small team, setting performance objectives, monitoring risk and compliance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize service offerings. The Head of Private Banking will also analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to long-term strategic planning for the private banking segment.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in Private Banking and Finance, with demonstrated experience managing high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Portfolio Management, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
  • Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and collaborative decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build trust, manage complex stakeholder expectations, and sustain long-term partnerships.
  • Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAMS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to private banking in the UAE and international markets.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or French is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and adapt to changing client and organizational needs.
