Head of Strategy

Role Description The Head of Strategy is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the Israel-UAE Business Network. This role involves analyzing market trends, member needs, and regional developments to inform long-term plans and initiatives. The Head of Strategy will lead strategic planning processes, develop business plans for new programs or services, and provide guidance on partnerships and growth opportunities. Day-to-day activities include conducting research, preparing strategic reports and presentations, advising the leadership team on priorities, and collaborating with stakeholders to align activities with the organization’s mission. The role also includes evaluating the impact of existing initiatives and recommending improvements to ensure the network delivers value to its members.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Experience in Business Planning and Strategic Planning to design and implement effective organizational strategies.
• Knowledge of Finance to evaluate business cases, budgets, and the financial viability of initiatives.
• Background in Consulting or advisory roles, preferably in international business, networks, or member-based organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in building partnerships or networks across cultures or regions; familiarity with Middle East business environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
