Hotel General Manager

Role Description The Hotel General Manager at DAV Mat. Hr. Sec. School is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing hotel operations and ensuring high standards of service for guests associated with school events and activities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating reservations, supervising customer service practices, and ensuring that food and beverage services meet quality and safety standards. The role involves monitoring budgets, reviewing financial performance, and making recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. The manager will collaborate with on-site staff, vendors, and school administration to maintain smooth operations, address guest concerns, and uphold the institution’s reputation for professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in General Management and Business Management to oversee hotel operations and support strategic decision-making.
• Proficiency in Customer Service to ensure a positive guest experience and effective handling of inquiries and concerns.
• Experience in Budgeting to manage costs, track financial performance, and contribute to revenue optimization.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations to support quality standards, safety compliance, and vendor coordination.
• Additional beneficial qualifications: prior experience in hotel or hospitality management, familiarity with remote coordination tools, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
