Role Description This part-time remote Sustainability Director role at DAC YREN dispositif d'appui à la coordination is responsible for leading the organization’s sustainability strategy and implementation. The Sustainability Director will design and oversee sustainability initiatives, set measurable environmental and social performance goals, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate sustainability into core operations and decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating sustainability policies, guiding corporate sustainability programs, preparing sustainability and ESG reports, and advising leadership on climate and environmental risks and opportunities. The role also involves engaging internal and external stakeholders, monitoring regulatory and industry developments, and identifying partnerships and projects that advance the organization’s long-term sustainability objectives. The Sustainability Director will analyze data, track key performance indicators, and provide clear recommendations to continuously improve sustainability outcomes.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Corporate Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, with the ability to design and manage strategic sustainability programs.
- Proficiency in Sustainability Reporting, including developing frameworks, metrics, and disclosures aligned with relevant standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Knowledge of Carbon management, climate risk, and greenhouse gas accounting, including setting and tracking reduction targets.
- Strong foundation in Environmental Science, with the capability to interpret environmental data and apply scientific insights to policy and practice.
- Proven skills in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and change management in complex organizational settings.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Experience working remotely and managing projects independently, using digital tools to coordinate with diverse teams.
- Relevant advanced degree or equivalent professional experience in sustainability, environmental science, public policy, or a related field.
