Hotel General Manager

Role Description This part-time Hotel General Manager role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some tasks to be performed from home. The Hotel General Manager oversees daily hotel operations, ensuring an excellent guest experience, efficient front-of-house and back-of-house coordination, and consistent service standards. Responsibilities include supervising department heads, managing staff schedules, maintaining quality across rooms, food and beverage, and guest services, and handling escalated guest concerns. The role also involves monitoring budgets, supporting revenue management activities, coordinating with vendors and partners, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and hotel policies. The Hotel General Manager is expected to foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the hotel team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong General Management and Business Management skills to oversee hotel operations and lead diverse teams.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to ensure a high-quality guest experience and effective issue resolution.
• Candidates should possess solid Budgeting and financial oversight skills to manage costs, support revenue goals, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Candidates should possess relevant Food & Beverage experience to uphold service standards and coordinate with restaurant, bar, and catering operations.
• Candidates should ideally have prior hospitality or hotel management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Candidates should preferably hold a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and demonstrate proficiency with hotel management systems and basic office software.
