Hotel General Managerr

Role Description The Hotel General Manager role at African Cyber Security is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with some flexibility for remote work from home. The Hotel General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment. This role is responsible for managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and implementing cost-effective strategies while maintaining high service standards. The manager will lead and develop staff, set performance expectations, coordinate schedules, and promote a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with local regulations, coordinating with vendors and partners, handling guest feedback and complaints, and aligning hotel operations with African Cyber Security’s brand and event requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in hotel operations management, including front office supervision, housekeeping coordination, and guest services oversight.
• Strong financial management capabilities, such as budgeting, revenue monitoring, and cost control in a hospitality environment.
• Experience in staff leadership, including team supervision, performance management, training, and scheduling.
• Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest relations, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, local regulatory requirements, and health and safety practices relevant to hotel operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, managing on-site responsibilities in Abu Dhabi and remote coordination as needed.
• Relevant education in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field; professional certifications in hospitality management are an advantage.
• Experience collaborating with corporate or event-focused organizations, ideally with exposure to international guests or conferences.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a part-time schedule.
