Role Description The IELTS Instructor role is a full-time position based in Lahore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home alongside on-site teaching. The instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons focused on all IELTS modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) for learners at different proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and structuring lesson content, conducting group classes and one-on-one sessions, assessing student performance through practice tests, and providing constructive feedback to improve scores. The role also involves tracking student progress, maintaining accurate records, and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. The instructor will collaborate with the team to align course materials with current IELTS formats and contribute to continuous improvement of training programs.

Qualifications

• Strong English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills, with proven classroom or tutoring experience.
• Solid expertise in IELTS preparation, including familiarity with test formats, scoring criteria, and effective exam strategies.
• Competence in Lesson Planning and Teaching, with the ability to design structured, outcome-focused lessons for varied proficiency levels.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, including clear pronunciation and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TESOL, TEFL) are an advantage.
• Experience teaching in a test-prep or language center environment, ideally with a track record of helping learners improve their IELTS scores.
• Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to support learners from diverse backgrounds in a respectful, inclusive manner.
• Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including basic digital literacy for online teaching platforms, assessments, and student tracking.
