Influencer Marketing & E-commerce Specialist South Africa / India (Remote) | Full-Time | Permanent | E-commerce / DTC Consumer Goods
Placed by Hotsourced – connecting top South African talent with world-class global companies
Our client is an exciting, founder-led European wellness and confectionery brand redefining indulgence through organic, low-sugar chocolates made with natural ingredients. Already selling across 27 countries, with the UK and France as its primary direct-to-consumer markets, the business is entering an ambitious phase of digital growth.
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised Creator Partnerships & E-commerce Coordinator to help scale the brand's creator and affiliate community while managing day-to-day e-commerce operations. This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial team, work closely with the Head of Growth, and take ownership of initiatives that directly influence customer acquisition, online sales, and brand visibility.
Company Description
Our client is a fast-growing European consumer brand creating premium organic chocolates with a focus on better-for-you ingredients. Handmade in France and distributed internationally, the brand combines thoughtful product development with a modern, digitally driven approach to reaching customers.
As a small, founder-led business, the company values initiative, creativity, accountability, and a willingness to build processes from the ground up. With ambitious plans to expand its creator network and strengthen its online presence, the team offers an exciting environment for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and contributing to meaningful business growth.
About The Role
As the Creator Partnerships & E-commerce Coordinator, you will play a central role in developing two critical growth areas: the brand's creator and affiliate programme and the day-to-day management of its Shopify store.
Working closely with the Head of Growth, advertising agency, and freelance developer, you will identify and manage creators, coordinate content production, build scalable affiliate processes, and ensure the online shopping experience remains engaging and conversion-focused.
This role goes beyond traditional influencer coordination. The ambition is to develop a thriving community of hundreds, eventually thousands, of creators and affiliates. You will help establish the systems, relationships, and processes required to make this possible.
Responsibilities - What you'll be doing:
Creator Partnerships & Affiliate Management
- Identify and research relevant UGC creators, influencers, and affiliates across the UK, France, and wider European markets.
- Manage high-volume creator outreach, negotiate rates and content usage rights, and coordinate agreed deliverables.
- Prepare creator briefs, arrange product shipments, and follow up to ensure content is delivered on time and meets brand expectations.
- Support the development and scaling of the affiliate programme, including discount codes, commission structures, performance tracking, and payouts.
- Develop efficient workflows and automations to enable the management of hundreds of creator relationships.
- Maintain accurate creator databases, outreach trackers, affiliate records, and content libraries.
- Support creator partnership activities across Instagram and future TikTok initiatives.
E-commerce & Shopify Management
- Manage day-to-day updates to the Shopify store, including product pages, collections, banners, product descriptions, and imagery.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns, discount codes, seasonal offers, and website merchandising activities.
- Implement conversion rate optimisation (CRO) experiments using no-code tools and monitor their impact on performance.
- Collaborate with the freelance developer on website improvements, providing clear briefs and reviewing changes before launch.
- Monitor website functionality, product availability displays, checkout journeys, and the overall customer experience.
- Work with the Head of Growth and external partners to support ongoing e-commerce improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, conversion rates, and online revenue.
Requirements - What we're looking for:
We think the right candidate will tick most of the following boxes:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce, influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or affiliate management, ideally within a direct-to-consumer consumer brand.
- Hands-on experience using Shopify, including product management, website updates, and e-commerce administration.
- Demonstrated experience identifying, contacting, negotiating with, and managing content creators or influencers.
- Familiarity with Instagram and creator-led marketing strategies, with an interest in expanding into TikTok.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, engaging creator outreach messages and briefs.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple creator relationships and operational tasks simultaneously.
- Confidence using digital platforms, spreadsheets, and no-code tools to manage workflows and improve efficiency.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may evolve as the business grows.
- An ambitious, growth-oriented approach, with enthusiasm for building scalable systems and managing creator programmes at volume.
Nice to have:
- Experience using Klaviyo or other email marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with influencer management or affiliate tracking software.
- Experience supporting conversion rate optimisation initiatives.
- French language proficiency.
- Experience within premium food, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle consumer brands.
- Exposure to TikTok creator partnerships or affiliate marketing.
Work Schedule
As the client operates primarily across the UK and European markets, you will be required to work UK business hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM GMT
- South Africa: 10:00 AM – 07:00 PM SAST
During British Summer Time, the corresponding local working hours will shift one hour earlier.
Pay & Benefits - What we offer:
- South Africa: R308,000 – R352,000 per annum.
- Fully remote opportunity with an international, founder-led consumer brand.
- Direct collaboration with the Head of Growth and experienced digital marketing partners.
- Opportunity to build and scale a creator and affiliate programme from its early stages.
- Hands-on exposure to international e-commerce operations across multiple markets.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that encourages ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Opportunities to develop expertise in influencer marketing, affiliate growth, Shopify management, and conversion optimisation.
- The chance to make a visible contribution to the growth of an ambitious international brand.
