About hoper

hoper is the global gateway for helicopter travel, connecting travelers with trusted helicopter operators through a seamless digital booking experience. From short transfers and skyline tours to private charters in some of the world's most iconic destinations, we're making helicopter travel more accessible, convenient and effortless.

Starting as the first scheduled helicopter airline in Greece, hoper is now expanding internationally, bringing together technology, aviation and travel in one growing platform.

Our business spans three key areas: scheduled helicopter transfers, on-demand private flights and charters, and scenic tours. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a commercially minded, tech-savvy person to join our sales team and help shape the way we work.

The Role

As an Inside Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for managing incoming sales opportunities, converting flight requests into bookings and developing lasting relationships with customers and partners.

This is a hands-on commercial role combining inbound sales, customer relationship management and sales operations. You'll manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from the initial enquiry and quotation to follow-up and booking confirmation, ensuring every customer receives a responsive and tailored experience.

We're looking for someone who can leverage AI, automation and digital tools to streamline processes, challenge existing ways of working and free up time for what drives the business forward: sales, relationships and growth.

You'll have real ownership from day one, with the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve existing processes and help build a more efficient sales operation within a fast-growing international sta

Main Responsibilities

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage incoming private flight requests, understand customer needs, prepare tailored quotations, follow up on opportunities and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings. Take ownership of opportunities throughout the sales cycle, maintain accurate CRM records and ensure timely follow-ups and effective pipeline management.
  • Customer & Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, hotels, travel agencies, DMCs, concierges and other partners, encouraging repeat business and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Technology, Automation & Process Improvement: Leverage AI tools, automation and digital platforms to streamline daily sales activities, reduce repetitive manual work and improve productivity. Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows, challenge manual processes and proactively suggest and implement smarter ways of working.
  • Commercial Growth: Identify additional sales opportunities, contribute to revenue growth and support targeted business development activities when needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing and other teams to ensure smooth coordination and a consistent customer experience.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in sales. Experience in a travel-related startup would be considered a plus.
  • Strong sales instincts and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities, manage sales conversations and convert leads into customers.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a genuine interest in developing long-term customer and partner relationships.
  • A strong interest in technology and confidence using digital tools, CRM systems and AI-powered applications.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, improve processes, manage multiple priorities and find smarter ways of working.
  • Strong ownership mentality, with the ability to take initiative, solve problems and work independently or as part of a small team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can evolve and flexibility is essential.
  • Willingness to work a five-day schedule with varying working days and hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs and particularly during high season.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, Tourism or a related field is a plus.

What We Offer

  • A flat organisation where initiative, ideas and getting things done matter more than hierarchy.
  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
  • Remote-first approach for focused, independent work, with hybrid collaboration when it makes teamwork more effective.
  • Real ownership and responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to influence and improve our commercial operations.
  • The opportunity to join a fast-growing travel technology startup transforming the way people travel by helicopter.
