Description
A project-based role for an entry-level, part-time remote role suited to a current student or professional trainee building a portfolio in digital content and social media. The intern supports the university's online presence with basic graphic design, short-form video editing, and single-platform content scheduling, working under light supervision with room to grow into the higher tier.
Monthly Deliverables
• 10 social media graphics/posts (flyers, quote cards, announcements, brochures etc)
• 4 short-form videos (1 – 5 mins length), edited from existing, created, sourced footages & photos supplied
• Content calendar maintained and scheduled for platform (facebook, Instagran, LinkedIn, X, YT, Groups etc)
• Light community engagement — responding to comments/DMs a few times per week
• One basic monthly performance summary (reach, likes, follower growth, with screenshots)
• Any other allocated assignment or activities
Benefits
• N30,000 per month (Nigeria Naira), monthly upon submission and approval of the monthly deliverables’ checklist - project-based.
• Non-delivery of agreed items in a given month may result in a prorated deduction, at the university's discretion

Suggested Working Schedule
• 3 days per week, approximately 3 hours per day (≈ 36 hours/month)
• A fixed/flexible 1–2 hour daily availability window for urgent requests or check-ins, even on non-working days
Minimum Requirements
• Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (Media, Communications, Mass Comm, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field) — or a strong trained & experienced portfolio in lieu of formal study
• A portfolio or sample reel/graphics available for review before engagement
• Own reliable laptop/smartphone and stable internet connection (Use of 3rd party laptop/phone is not allowed)
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Tools
• Design: Canva or others | Video editing: CapCut, InShot, etc
• Scheduling: Meta Business Suite | Collaboration: WhatsApp, Google Drive etc
• Other relevant ones
Skills
• Graphic design, Video editing, Short-form caption writing, Single-platform scheduling and posting
• Basic awareness of what performs well on the chosen platform
