Who we are :

We are Qover, a leading insurtech scale-up that has raised $100 million. With an international team of 160+ colleagues based in Brussels and beyond, we help companies orchestrate digital embedded insurance experiences — creating meaningful connections with their community and enabling their success.

Since Qover was founded in 2016, our co-founders have had a clear vision of the future of insurance: it must be simple, transparent, and accessible across borders — a global safety net.

Our platform protects 15M+ users across 32 European countries and works with longstanding partners like Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Canyon, and Monzo, among many others.

Your team :

At Qover, the professional services group helps partners turn ideas into working solutions. We work across business analysis, product configuration, technology and delivery to make sure each solution meets the partner’s needs.

As a Technical Business Analyst intern, you’ll work alongside experienced solution consultants, business analysts, engineers and project managers. You’ll help us understand partner requirements, analyse business processes and turn them into clear, practical solutions on the Qover platform.

Your role:

This role is for someone who enjoys breaking down complex problems and understanding how things work.

Your primary mission will be owning the migration, redesign, and optimization of our digital claims intake flows. We are transitioning our operational claims forms from Jotform to Penbox—a modern workflow and data collection platform. You will dissect existing forms, map out business rules and validation logic, and rebuild them within Penbox to ensure a seamless experience for end users and internal claims teams. Importantly, this is not just a 1-to-1 migration: you will be expected to critically evaluate the existing customer journey, challenge unnecessary friction, and actively suggest improvements to make the claims forms and underlying workflows cleaner, faster, and more user-friendly.

Beyond this migration project, you will support our Solution Consultants on new partner launches. You will join client-facing calls to see firsthand how partner requirements are gathered, and you will help configure, test, and document the building blocks needed to get new insurance programs live.

You won’t need previous consulting or client-facing experience. We’re more interested in how you think, how you approach problems and how quickly you learn.

What you’ll do

• Drive & Optimize Claims Form Migration (Jotform => Penbox): Audit existing Jotform configurations, map out logic branching and validation rules, and rebuild them in Penbox while actively identifying bottlenecks and proposing concrete design and workflow enhancements.

• Analyse business processes: Help break down insurance products, customer journeys, business rules and operational workflows.

• Document requirements: Turn discussions and research into clear notes, process maps, functional requirements and user stories.

• Map processes to solutions: Help identify how a partner’s requirements can be supported by the existing capabilities of the Qover platform.

• Support configuration: Assist with product, scheme, workflow and document configuration under the guidance of an experienced team member.

• Work with APIs and data: Read API documentation, review JSON payloads and help investigate how data moves between systems.

• Test solutions: Prepare test cases, check expected results and help identify and document issues.

• Use scripting where helpful: Write or adapt JavaScript, Google Script or similar code to support analysis, testing or data preparation.

• Create clear documentation: Keep implementation notes, process diagrams, data mappings and testing records up to date.

• Learn from project work: Join relevant internal and partner meetings to understand how requirements are discussed and how technical decisions are made.

• Suggest improvements: Ask questions and share ideas that could make our processes, documentation or solutions clearer and easier to maintain.

What you’ll learn

During the internship, you’ll gain experience in:

• analysing real business and insurance processes

• translating business requirements into technical solutions

• configuring a software platform

• working with APIs, data structures and integrations

• writing functional documentation and test cases

• understanding how software solutions are delivered

• working with solution consultants, engineers, product teams and project managers

• communicating clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues

What you’ll bring

• You’re studying towards, or have recently completed, a degree in business analysis, engineering, computer science, information systems or a related subject.

• You enjoy understanding how systems and processes work.

• You can break a problem into smaller parts and explain your thinking clearly.

• You have an understanding of APIs, HTTP, JSON or system integrations.

• You have some exposure to JavaScript, Python or another programming language. You don’t need to be an advanced developer.

• You’re comfortable working with spreadsheets, structured data and written documentation.

• You’re organised and pay attention to detail.

• You’re curious and ask good questions when something isn’t clear.

• You can work independently on a task, while knowing when to ask for help.

• You communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in conversations.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger or similar API documentation tools.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, data modelling or process mapping.

• Experience creating flowcharts or diagrams.

• An interest in insurance, fintech, SaaS or software integrations.

What matters most is your curiosity, structured thinking and willingness to learn.

Why join us?

You’ll join a team where you can see how business needs become working software solutions. You’ll have support from experienced colleagues, get exposure to real partner projects and build a practical understanding of business analysis, technical configuration and software delivery.

It’s a good fit if you enjoy asking ‘how does this work?’, ‘what happens next?’ and ‘how could we make this clearer?’ Maybe not all three at once, but you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask them.
