Overview
At Lupa, we're hiring for an Inventory Analyst to join a fast-growing, venture-backed food innovation company on a mission to make better-for-you snacks that are delicious, healthier, and beautifully designed. Starting with a single stroopwafel product in 2012, the company's portfolio of low-sugar snacks is now sold in 14,000+ retail locations across Club, Grocery, Natural, Convenience, Food Service, Target, and Online (including Amazon).
This is a hands-on, detail-intensive role at the heart of the Supply Chain team. You'll take ownership of day-to-day inventory execution across a network of 3PLs, co-manufacturers, and distribution partners — keeping product accurate, fresh, and moving, and spotting problems before they turn into losses. If you love bringing order to messy data, thrive in a fully remote startup, and want to see the direct impact of your work on a growing consumer brand, this one's for you.
What You'll Do
Inventory control & reconciliation
Own the weekly inventory reconciliation process across all storage points — 3PL warehouses, co-manufacturer facilities, and Amazon FBA/FBM — resolving quantity, lot, and status discrepancies between the ERP (NetSuite) and each partner's WMS.
Manage internal finished goods transfers between warehouses, coordinating with Logistics, warehouse partners, and co-manufacturers to position product where demand requires it.
Manage inventory transfers to and within Amazon (FBA replenishment, removal orders, stranded inventory) and monitor inventory health for aging, unfulfillable, or excess units.
Support physical inventory counts: prepare count sheets, participate in counts, reconcile results, and follow up on adjustments.
Support Finance with inventory data for month-end close, audit requests, and due diligence.
Shelf life, rotation & at-risk inventory
Enforce FEFO (First Expired, First Out) rotation across all warehouses and resolve deviations with 3PL partners.
Track code dates and shelf-life thresholds, flag at-risk lots early, and propose disposition actions (liquidation, donation, write-off) with supporting data.
Own the weekly Inventory Report and lead the weekly At-Risk Inventory meeting — preparing data, presenting findings, and driving decisions.
Own the inventory section of the monthly S&OP meeting, presenting inventory health and recommendations to cross-functional leadership.
For every inventory loss, document root cause and propose a "fix-it-forever" solution; maintain the FIF tracker and follow through on corrective actions.
Distributor & channel inventory monitoring
Monitor inventory at key distributors (e.g. KeHE, UNFI, McLane), cross-referencing positions against sell-through velocity and shelf life to catch at-risk product early.
Coordinate with Sales and Customer Ops on interventions (promotions, swaps, returns, markdowns).
Track and manage deductions related to spoilage and returns, investigate root causes, and work with Finance to dispute invalid claims or process valid ones.
Review and validate warehouse invoices across 3PL partners, flagging discrepancies in storage, handling, and VAS billing.
Inventory data, reporting & analysis
Maintain and improve the Inventory Dashboard: on-hand positions, weeks of supply, at-risk exposure, aging analysis, and FEFO compliance.
Build ad hoc analyses — cost-of-loss scenarios, disposition trade-offs, shelf-life extension evaluations, and warehouse performance comparisons.
Partner with Demand and Supply Planning to validate projections and flag overstock or out-of-stock risks.
Ensure accurate bills of material are documented for Finance and keep the Master Specification Sheet accurate for SKUs, specs, and status.
Who You Are
Must-haves
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Data Analysis, or a related field.
5+ years of inventory management experience within a CPG company, ideally in the US market and the food industry.
Hands-on experience with 3PL warehouses: inventory reconciliation, WMS data, cycle counts, and operational coordination.
Solid grasp of inventory fundamentals: FEFO/FIFO rotation, cycle counts, shelf-life management, lot tracking, and disposition workflows.
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and warehouse management systems.
Expert-level Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data modeling) and Google Sheets.
Fluent English, written and spoken, to work daily with a US-based team and external partners.
Nice-to-haves
Experience managing products with limited shelf life.
A modern, tech-forward mindset — comfort adopting AI and automation tools to work smarter, not just harder.
A root-cause thinker who fixes problems permanently, not just the symptoms.
Proactive over reactive: you watch leading indicators and act before issues escalate.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup where priorities shift and resourcefulness matters.
What's In It For You
Compensation: Competitive salary benchmarked to the Argentine market, paid in USD.
Fully remote role, based in Argentina (Buenos Aires or nearby preferred).
Working hours: 9 AM – 6 PM ET to align with the US-based team.
Growth: Join a ~40-person, venture-backed, fully remote team across the US, Argentina, and Spain, with real ownership and visibility to senior leadership through S&OP and weekly inventory meetings.
18 days PTO, OSDE 210
