Role Description The Investment Manager role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Karachi, with flexibility for some work from home. The Investment Manager will analyze market trends, economic data, and financial instruments to develop and implement Shariah-compliant investment strategies across various asset classes. Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, rebalancing allocations, and preparing regular reports and insights for internal stakeholders and clients. The role involves conducting due diligence on potential investments, assessing risks, and ensuring alignment with the group’s ethical standards and regulatory requirements. The Investment Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams within Pak-Qatar Group to support product development, optimize fund performance, and contribute to client advisory initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with experience managing diversified portfolios.
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Investment Strategies, including quantitative and qualitative analysis for decision-making.
- Solid understanding of Finance, particularly Islamic finance principles and Shariah-compliant investment products.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, IFQ) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial statements, market data, and regulatory guidelines, and to communicate insights clearly.
- Experience working with mutual funds, Takaful or asset management entities is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling confidential information, and capacity to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
