Position: IT Strategy & Innovation Consultant | Senior

Location: Porto/Gaia, Portugal (Hybrid | 1 day per week in the office)

Compensation: €[2000-2400] gross per month | 14 payments per year

About this role: Join a global IT organization in the Automotive Tech sector to create and evolve its IT Strategy and Innovation Framework, translating strategic priorities into roadmaps, governance routines and performance measures, and taking ownership of topics such as innovation management, transformation enablement and AI-enabled ways of working.

Main responsibilities:

• Create and evolve the global IT Strategy and Innovation Framework;
• Support the definition of strategic priorities and translate them into actionable roadmaps, governance routines, organizational performance measures and operating model improvements;
• Drive and coordinate strategic initiatives, management reviews and cross-functional alignment with IT stakeholders and value centers;
• Conduct market research, benchmarking and trend scouting on emerging technologies, digital capabilities and industry developments;
• Support the identification, evaluation and implementation of innovation opportunities and organizational improvement initiatives;
• Contribute to strategic communication, change management and enablement activities within the IT organization;
• Prepare management decision materials, analyses and executive presentations;
• Facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing and transparency across strategic IT initiatives and communities;
• Take ownership of strategic focus topics such as strategy governance, innovation management, organizational performance, transformation enablement and AI-enabled ways of working.

Requirements:

Must-have:

• Minimum of 07 years of professional experience in IT Strategy, IT Governance, Digital Transformation, Innovation Management, Management Consulting or Organizational Transformation;
• Experience in IT Strategy development and execution, IT Governance and Innovation Management;
• Experience developing strategy and governance frameworks and defining target operating models;
• Experience in roadmap creation, strategic planning, prioritization and execution planning;
• Knowledge of governance routines and organizational performance measurement frameworks;
• Experience in change and enablement management;
• Stakeholder management and the ability to drive alignment across global teams and leadership levels;
• Experience in executive reporting, decision support, management analyses and presentations;
• Market research, benchmarking and trend analysis, including evaluation of innovation opportunities;
• Understanding of digitalization, technology innovation and AI concepts;
• Strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking with strong business acumen;
• Structured, proactive and autonomous working approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
• Strong communication, facilitation and relationship management skills;
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in Management Consulting or large-scale Organizational Transformation programs;
• Experience in the Automotive or technology sectors;
• Experience operating in dynamic, ambiguous and international environments;
• Knowledge of additional languages.
