IT Systems Administrator

Role Description As the Owner of Active Family Offices, you will oversee the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the business in a full-time remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining the product roadmap, optimizing the database and research processes, and ensuring data accuracy and quality across all listings. You will manage or coordinate a team of researchers and contractors, establish workflows, and implement tools and standards to improve efficiency. The role also involves developing partnerships, driving marketing and sales initiatives, handling key client relationships, and monitoring financial performance. You will continuously analyze market trends in the family office and investment landscape, identify new opportunities, and adapt the business strategy to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Strong business leadership and ownership skills, including strategic planning, decision-making, and accountability for results.
• Experience in data management and research operations, with the ability to create and enforce quality and accuracy standards.
• Background in finance, investment, or family office services, with familiarity of investor databases and capital markets considered beneficial.
• Skills in marketing, sales, and business development, including the ability to build partnerships and grow a client base.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for remote collaboration, project management, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally with clients and partners.
• Experience leading or managing small teams or contractors in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or entrepreneurial experience are a plus.
