Company Description Eyden is a building intelligence layer that leverages IOT and current existing building infrastructure to help manage your building assets more efficiently. Eyden provides operators with real-time visibility and control over their community.

Role Description As a Junior Golang Developer at Eyden, you will work on full-time, remote projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, contributing to software that powers smart building solutions.

You will implement and maintain backend services in Go, write clean and efficient code, and assist in building APIs that connect sensors, hardware devices, and building management systems.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include debugging and troubleshooting issues, writing unit tests, and supporting integration of new features into existing platforms. You will collaborate with senior developers, product managers, and hardware engineers to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve performance, reliability, and security of Eyden’s systems.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience with Golang, including building RESTful APIs or microservices and working with concurrency patterns.
• Basic knowledge of backend development practices such as version control (Git), testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling for sensor or IoT-style data.
• Interest in IoT, hardware integration, or building management systems, and willingness to learn about energy management technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort communicating in English in a professional environment; additional regional languages are a plus.
