About MindMaze Therapeutics
MindMaze Therapeutics, a publicly listed, innovative scale-up headquartered in Switzerland, at the forefront of neuro-therapeutics and digital brain health solutions. Operating in a regulated medical device environment, MindMaze Therapeutics is dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology that supports neurological recovery and treatment.
As the company continues to grow and expand its specialized activities, we are looking for a dedicated Junior IT Support to join our Cluj office. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day IT questions and problems across the company, and you will help keep our core platforms — Google Workspace, Jira, our device fleet and Active Directory — running smoothly.
Part of the people you support sit in Lausanne, Switzerland, so a good share of your work happens remotely: clear written communication and a bit of patience matter as much as technical skills.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day support
- Be the first line of support for hardware, software, access and connectivity issues, in person in Cluj-Napoca and remotely for colleagues in Lausanne,
- Log, triage and resolve tickets,
- Set up new joiners: accounts, devices, access rights and a proper first-day welcome to our tools — and handle leavers cleanly,
- Prepare, image and hand over laptops, monitors, phones and meeting-room equipment; keep the asset inventory accurate.
- Write and maintain short how-to guides so common questions stop coming back.
Google Workspace
- Manage users, groups and org units in the Google Admin console,
- Handle Gmail, Drive and shared drive administration: sharing permissions, storage, delegation and recovery requests,
- Support colleagues with Meet, Calendar and Drive in everyday use, including meeting-room setups.
Jira administration
- Administer Jira day to day: users and groups, project access, boards, workflows and simple automation rules,
- Create and adjust projects, issue types and permission schemes under the guidance of the senior team,
- Help colleagues use Jira well — and keep the configuration tidy as teams grow.
Devices and identity
- Enrol and manage devices through our MDM: policies, compliance, application deployment, updates and remote wipe when needed,
- Perform Active Directory administration: user and group accounts, permissions, group policies and password resets,
- Apply our security basics consistently — MFA, disk encryption, patching and least-privilege access.
What we're looking for
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, and comfort finding your way around an admin console,
- Understanding of Windows and macOS, and of how networks work (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN),
- Some exposure to Active Directory, MDM or Jira,
- Good written and spoken English: much of your support happens over chat and email with colleagues abroad,
- A service mindset: you explain things without jargon, you follow up, and you do not leave someone stuck,
- Methodical problem-solving — you check the obvious first, document what you tried, and know when to escalate,
- Discretion: you will handle accounts and data that require confidentiality.
Nice to have
- A degree or certification in IT, computer science or a related field (CompTIA A+, ITIL, Google Workspace Administrator or similar),
- Experience with an MDM platform,
- Basic scripting — PowerShell, Bash or Python — to automate repetitive tasks,
- Experience supporting users across multiple sites or countries.
