We build and manage remote operational support and development teams, while also supporting our freelance collaborators during their journey.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Kotlin Developer to join a software development team working on modern backend solutions. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable applications using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS, while working in an environment that values clean code, automated testing, and solid software design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Build and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices in your daily development work
• Work with systems based on event-driven and event sourcing architectures
• Apply or develop your understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and code quality

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Solid hands-on experience with Kotlin
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Practical experience with AWS
• Good understanding of event sourcing and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts
• Good knowledge of software development principles and clean code practices
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
