Take the lead in hardware development and help shape the EV charging technology of tomorrow.
At Alfen's EV Charging (EVC) business unit, the hardware we develop is at the heart of our products. Our hardware development goes far beyond the prototype stage. Our charging solutions are developed and tested in-house at Alfen and subsequently manufactured in series at our own production facility.
EVC also has dedicated testing facilities, including its own anechoic chamber for EMC testing. For additional expertise and certification, we work closely with external testing institutes and technology partners.
What will you do?
As a Lead Hardware Design Engineer at Alfen, you will combine your technical expertise with a coordinating role within our R&D department. You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of smart, innovative charging solutions for electric vehicles. Your designs will be directly integrated into our charging stations, allowing you to make a tangible contribution to the energy transition.
You will act as the technical point of contact for the hardware discipline within multidisciplinary projects. In addition to designing and developing electronic hardware yourself, you will support fellow engineers, coordinate and assign tasks, and ensure technical quality and progress. You will play a key role in resolving technical challenges and successfully bringing new designs to life.
